The qualifiers in the Pacific region for VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff are nearing their conclusion, with only the most exciting matches remaining. Today, the upper bracket semifinals took place, and we’re here to break down the results.

T1 vs. Talon Esports

The first match featured a battle between the favorites, T1, and the underdogs, Talon Esports. Despite their status, Talon put up a strong fight, making it a tough challenge for T1. However, after a fierce contest, T1 emerged victorious with a 2-1 scoreline.

DRX vs. Gen.G Esports

The second match saw a clash between two strong teams, DRX and Gen.G Esports. However, Gen.G didn’t live up to expectations. While the match was intense, and the second map even went into overtime, DRX secured a dominant 2-0 victory.

As a result, T1 and DRX advance to the upper bracket final, where they will face off on February 7 for the first spot in the grand final. Meanwhile, Talon Esports and Gen.G drop to the lower bracket, where they will fight for survival on February 2.

VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff is taking place from January 18 to February 9 in a LAN format at Colosseum Sangam in Seoul, South Korea. Twelve partnered VCT teams are competing for two spots at Masters Bangkok and crucial Pacific Points, which are key for qualifying for Champions 2025.
