The Shopify Rebellion team emerged as the first in the qualifying stage of Game Changers NA Series 1, securing a 2-1 victory over FlyQuest on Sunday morning. This triumph granted the team the top spot in the open qualification in North America.
The first map played was Icebox, where Shopify Rebellion showcased their mastery, effectively playing out the first half of the match. Although facing difficulties in the second half, the team managed to secure the win.
On the second map, Ascent, FlyQuest demonstrated their superiority, shining in the first half and finishing it with a score of 9:3. In the second half of the battle, Shopify Rebellion faced challenges but ultimately overcame their opponents, closing the match with a score of 13:4.
The final map choice was Lotus, which, as we already know, became the concluding map. Shopify Rebellion once again took the initiative and, thanks to a good lead in the first half, closed the match in their favor, defeating FlyQuest.
According to the Shopify Rebellion ranking, only seven spots remain open for the first stage of the North American Game Changers. The second open qualification is scheduled to take place from February 6th to 10th.
