G2 Esports to Compete in Esports World Cup 2025 with Roster Change

Nathan "leaf" Orf will not be able to participate in the Esports World Cup 2025 due to deteriorating health. The player will be replaced by assistant coach Peter "shhhack" Beley. This information was shared by G2 Esports on their official social media channels.

According to G2 Esports, after the VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025, leaf began experiencing health issues. Currently, the player is undergoing treatment and, on the doctor's recommendation, will not attend the event. The organization noted that they will provide full support to Nathan on his road to recovery and give him all the necessary time to return to VCT.

The Esports World Cup 2025 will take place from July 7 to 13 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. During the event, 16 partner teams from around the world will compete for a prize pool of $1,250,000. More information about the tournament and the match schedule can be found through this link.
