World Champion of 2022, Bryan "pANcada" Luna, has confirmed that he will not be playing for Sentinels at the VCT 2024: Americas Kickoff, meaning he will be replaced by Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro, according to Valorant News.
After winning Valorant Champions 2022 with LOUD, Bryan "pANcada" Luna left the team to join Sentinels, but his career took a downturn from that point. With his new team in the 2023 season, he failed to come close to the success he achieved with LOUD, as he was forced to switch from playing a smoker to a sentinel role, significantly impacting his performance for the worse.
Since the addition of Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro as a substitute player, pANcada has been consistently missing tournaments for significant reasons, such as illness or feeling unwell, but there has been no confirmation of these claims, leading fans to speculate that the player is being sidelined.
As reported by Valorant News, Bryan "pANcada" Luna has confirmed he will not be playing for Sentinels at the VCT 2024: Americas Kickoff and is currently at home in Brazil, not with the team. Previously, the organization's CEO stated that the player was dealing with visa issues, but there is no confirmation that he is still working on them, so this could be another "significant" reason for Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro to play in his stead.
Reminder: Sentinels will begin their journey in 2024 with the VCT 2024: Americas Kickoff, where the team finds itself in a "group of death" and will play against LOUD in the first round.
