Sengoku Gaming introduces new streamer

On October 1, the esports team Sengoku Gaming announced the signing of a new streamer for their VALORANT roster, Pepper. This move marks his return to his hometown team after announcing his retirement from the competitive scene in August of this year.

Pepper, who is currently 28 years old, first entered the competitive Overwatch scene in 2016. He played for leading teams such as USG Supreme and Libalent Supreme, participating in tournaments both in Japan and abroad. However, in November 2017, he announced his retirement. After that, he spent time in the competitive PUBG scene and transitioned to VALORANT in May 2020.

Achievements in VALORANT

In VALORANT, Pepper played for teams such as Sengoku Gaming, IGZIST, DetonatioN FocusMe, and VARREL, and in December of last year, he joined NORTHEPTION. He achieved an impressive 4th place in the VCJ 2024 Split 1. However, in Split 2, he left the starting lineup and began the season with this decision. He later returned to the team but finished the season in last place after a series of defeats.

Pepper is known for his wide agent pool, including duelists like Jett and Raze, as well as initiators and controllers. He has shown consistent results playing Jett, with a K/D of 1.13 over nearly 100 matches. He is also an experienced IGL and has supported various young players thanks to his rich gaming experience.

Sengoku Gaming hopes that Pepper return to the team will bring new victories and inspiration for both players and fans.
