DetonatioN FocusMe player neth announces search for a new team: roster changes continue

On October 1, DetonatioN FocusMe player neth announced through his account on X (formerly Twitter) that he is looking for a new team (LFT). In his statement, he emphasized his desire to continue his career and put in all his efforts for future success, now operating as a restricted free agent.

The 28-year-old neth began his esports career in 2013 in the CSO discipline and joined Japan’s leading team VeliaS the following year. With VeliaS, he participated three times in the CSO World Championship (2014-2016). In 2017, he transitioned to CS and played for teams such as Ignis and BlackBird Ignis, becoming one of the key figures in the Japanese scene.

In July 2020, neth moved to VALORANT along with the CS division of BlackBird Ignis, and just a week later, the team placed fourth at the RAGE VALORANT JAPAN TOURNAMENT. In September of the same year, he joined Crazy Raccoon and in 2021 won the VCT Japan Masters. He also participated in international tournaments like VCT Masters Reykjavík, VCT Masters Berlin, and VALORANT Champions 2021, where he significantly contributed to the first global victory for a Japanese team.

In November 2023, neth left Crazy Raccoon and joined DetonatioN FocusMe. The team secured wins against T1 and ZETA DIVISION but finished the VCT PACIFIC 2024 season with a 2-10 record. Neth established himself as a versatile player with a wide agent pool, excelling particularly with Raze (K/D 1.33) and Jett (K/D 1.47).

Neth departure is part of ongoing roster changes at DetonatioN FocusMe, with Anthem and Medusa also announcing their exits.
