Yesterday, the well-known Brazilian dataminer - KINGDOM LABORATORIES, shared new insights about Valorant on their Twitter account. According to their information, two sets of weapon skins will be added to the game client this month.
As the dataminer reports, on November 14, 2023, Valorant will release patch 7.10, after which there will be several important changes. Some developers from Riot Games will go on vacation, which will clearly slow down the process of developing new content. Also, with the update's release, information about two new sets will appear in the game code, and later, about a new major patch.
On November 14, we will receive patch 7.10. Patch 7.11 will be skipped, and meanwhile, part of the team will go on vacation to rotate with those going at the end of the year. If nothing changes, we should receive two collections in the code in patch 7.10. One, which will be in the store from 11/15 to 11/29, and another, which will be in the store until 12/13, where we will get Patch 8.0.
KINGDOM LABORATORIES does not yet have exact information about the future sets, but they assume that one of the sets will be a continuation of the old Sentinel of Light set. Riot Games likes to release new versions of old sets, adding skins for different weapons.
I still don't have details about the two new collections, but perhaps Sentinel of Light could be one of them. Unlike the Renascimento collection, which does not have voices, knives, and additional items, only 5 premium-level weapons. The Renaissance package, if seen now, should contain only weapons that have already been released in China.
The Sentinels of Light Collection - appeared in the game back in 2021, with the release of update 3.02. The set included skins for: Sheriff, Vandal, Operator, Ares, and the melee weapon Relic of the Sentinel. It is assumed that the second set will be timed to the release of update 8.0, which is expected to take place in December. Therefore, it might be designed in a winter style and dedicated to the New Year holidays.
