Renowned esports journalist Bo Hoogland shared intriguing rumors concerning the Chinese Valorant scene. He reported that three organizations, Royal Never Give Up, Weibo Gaming, and Top Esports, plan to completely abandon the discipline.
In his Twitter account, the journalist revealed that, according to rumors, only five teams will be included in Riot Games' partnership program in the Chinese region. The aforementioned three organizations were informed that they would not receive a partnership, which led to their plans to leave the discipline being made public.

Recall that yesterday, we released a piece sharing analysts' thoughts on which teams from the Chinese region would receive partnerships. All the above-mentioned teams were listed as main contenders, but at that time, there was information that there would be 10 slots in the partnership program. However, if Bo Hoogland's rumors are to be believed, it can be assumed that the five partnership slots will be taken by teams such as EDward Gaming, BiliBili Gaming, FunPlus Phoenix, Rare Atom, and JD Gaming, although these are just assumptions of our editorial team.
So far, there is no confirmation of this information. The last stage of the Valorant China Evolution Series ended just a few days ago, so the counting of EVO points is ongoing, and it is unknown which teams have been invited to the Ascension series. The only thing that can be confidently stated is that EDward Gaming receives direct partnership with Riot, thanks to winning all three stages.
