According to Sports Business Journal, the management of Evil Geniuses has decided to completely leave the esports space and disband players in all disciplines in which EG participates. Although this is currently just at the level of rumors, the information has already begun to find confirmation. Recall that a few weeks ago, Evil Geniuses announced that they were disbanding their Dota 2 roster. Also yesterday, it became known that after the end of the League of Legends World Championship, the organization announced that they are also leaving the Riot Games discipline.
It is worth remembering that the Evil Geniuses roster for Valorant won this year's world championship, but not without problems. After the end of the tournament, several well-known esports journalists reported that the organization is keeping its players in a "contractual prison."
