VCT 2023: Game Changers Championship is the last major event in the world of Valorant for 2023 and the biggest tournament in women's esports. Besides thrilling and fantastic matches between the top eight teams, fans can expect surprises like the announcement of a new map, rewards for watching the tournament, and more. The official announcement of rewards only happened today, November 20, but we already wrote about it two weeks ago in another article.
The women's world championship will be held in a double-elimination format, with the team seedings already determined. One of the most interesting first-round matches promises to be between Team Liquid Brazil and G2 Gozen, as both teams are absolute champions of their regions. More detailed information about the seedings is available in the image presented below. All matches will be played in a best-of-three format, with the grand final being best-of-five.
Riot Games announced that during the grand final of VCT 2023: Game Changers Championship, a new map for Team DeathMatch mode will be introduced.
Insider KOHTEIHEP reports that the new map will be styled after an existing map in the game, specifically "Breeze."
VCT 2023: Game Changers Championship will take place from November 28 to December 3 in São Paulo at the Arena CBLOL location. This event, apart from its huge scale, is the last one for women's teams this season. Details regarding the prize pool are still kept secret.
