Rumors: GIANTX Valorant reaches verbal agreement with runneR

The franchise league organization GIANTX has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Emil "runneR" Trajkovski to join their Valorant roster for the 2025 season.

runneR's First Experience in VCT

This VCT season was the first for runneR. Previously, he competed with Tier-2 and Tier-3 teams in the Challengers league and local tournaments for two years. In early 2024, he caught the attention of Team Vitality, giving him the opportunity to showcase his skills in one of Europe’s top leagues. However, the team’s results were underwhelming, missing all Masters events but managing to secure second place at VCT 2024: EMEA Stage 2 and earning a spot among the sixteen teams at Valorant Champions 2024.

New GIANTX Roster

Following a disappointing 2024 season, GIANTX parted ways with three players from their active roster and began assembling a new team after the opening of the transfer window. According to Sheep Esports, Emil "runneR" Trajkovski is expected to be the first recruit.

If the rumors hold true, runneR's addition to GIANTX could strengthen the team, drawing on his experience with Team Vitality and his participation in Valorant Champions 2024. Currently, GIANTX is not competing in any offseason tournaments, giving them extra time to complete their new roster.
