KUROLIA announces his retirement from the professional VALORANT scene

On January 31, 2025, player KUROLIA, known for his participation in teams BC SWELL and REJECT Academy, announced his departure from the professional VALORANT scene. In his post on X, he wrote:

I am leaving the competitive scene as a player. Future plans are not yet determined, but I do not plan to quit VALORANT and intend to continue streaming. Thank you for all your support!

KUROLIA, who is currently 20 years old, began his VALORANT career in 2021 by joining Atlas Gaming. He later played in the academies of top teams like REJECT Academy and Crazy Raccoon Academy. In November 2023, he became a member of BC SWELL, but the team failed to qualify for the main stage after two losses to FENNEL in the open qualifiers for VCJ 2024 Split 1.

In May 2024, KUROLIA joined the mixed team AXELERATE, formed by former professionals and young players. During VCJ 2024 Split 2, the team secured victories over BLUE BEES and Chichi no Senaka. In Split 3, despite being an amateur team, AXELERATE managed to qualify for the main stage. In VCJ 2025 Split 1, the team earned a spot in the Advanced Stage but was eliminated after defeats.
