Rumor: Gen.G formed a new Valorant roster with Ash and Suggest

In the past, the tops of the Korean scene, Gen.G Esports, have not shown great results since the beginning of 2025. Because of this, the team has undergone a series of changes, and as it became known, two new players will be signed to the updated roster: Ha “Ash” Hyun-cheol and Seo “Suggest” Jae-young.

Results and changes in Gen.G

At the beginning of the current competitive season, the team took part in only one tournament - VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff. These were regional qualifiers for Masters Bangkok 2025. And although Gen.G took 3rd place, only the first 2 guaranteed a slot at the event, which is why the Korean club missed it.

After that, the team went through a series of changes. First, Foxy9 was sent to the bench, and later yoman also left the team. We wrote about this in our article yesterday.

Rumors about the new lineup

But the team did not remain without key players for long. Today, it became known that the team plans to sign two newcomers to its roster, Ash and Suggest. The information was shared by journalist and insider Tanmay on his social media. Ash has been playing for the Gen.G academic team since the beginning of 2025, and has earned a place in the main lineup with his results.

Suggest, in turn, played for Detonation FocusMe from 2022 to 2024, where he won 17-32 place at VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo and 10th place at VCT 2023: Pacific League, which is not a very good result.

Interestingly, according to a Foxy9 insider, the player who was transferred to the bench will not leave the team and will remain as a 6th player. But whether he will be in the lineup or as a substitute is still unknown.
