The Saudi esports organization Twisted Minds recently lost a key member of their Valorant team. The club's head coach, Rubén "RRubiiyz" Lloret, who has been mentoring the players for almost a year, announced yesterday that he is leaving the team.
This decision became known through the official social networks of RRubiiyz. Interestingly, the coach himself did not disclose the reason for his departure, only stating that he is ready for new challenges. Meanwhile, the organization's representatives also did not comment on the decision to end the collaboration, so the reason remains undisclosed.
Rubén "RRubiiyz" Lloret is a 27-year-old Spanish coach who joined the team in June 2023. During his time with the club, he helped the players win the Saudi eLeague 2023: Season 1, and take third place at the Dubai Police Esports Tournament 2023. However, the year 2024 was less successful for the coach and his team. The team finished eighth in the Saudi eLeague 2024: Major 2, and sixth in the main tournament from Riot - VALORANT Challengers 2024 MENA: Resilience Split 2 - GCC and Iraq. Although no official reason was given, it can be assumed that the team's performance was the main reason for ending the collaboration.
It is currently unknown where RRubiiyz plans to go or if he has received any offers. However, it is certain that such an experienced coach will not be a free agent for long and we will soon learn about his new team.
