Riot Games announces at Summer Game Fest the start of the closed beta test for the console version of Valorant

During the Summer Game Fest, Riot Games shared the first details of the console version of Valorant and announced the date for the closed beta test and how to gain access to it.

After endless rumors and leaks about the development of the console version of Valorant, Riot Games has made an official announcement about the launch of the beta test, which any current or future fan of the game can register for.

The beta test is scheduled to start on June 14, and you can register for it using this link. A unique feature of the console version is that it will be partially cross-platform, meaning your accounts, achievements, and skins will be shared, but gameplay will only be between PC versus PC, and console versus console.

Valorant will be available on the following consoles: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Initially, players from the following regions will have access to the beta test: the USA, Canada, Europe, and Japan, with other countries to follow. Participants in the test will receive an exclusive player card, and the available modes will include: Unranked, Quick Play, and Deathmatch.
