RIDDLE undergo first roster change in Valorant, Aace leaves the team

On October 5th, Aace, a player for the Japanese esports team RIDDLE, announced that he is looking for a new team (LFT) and has limited free agent (FA) status.

Career Beginnings with ZETA DIVISION

Aace, who is now 18 years old, joined the Valorant academy division of ZETA DIVISION at the end of 2022. He quickly made a name for himself by performing well in amateur tournaments. As a result, he transitioned to RIDDLE at the end of 2023 as one of the founding members of their Valorant division.

First Success with RIDDLE

In 2024, Aace and RIDDLE participated in their first official tournament, "VCJ 2024 Split 1." While the team gained attention, they failed to advance to the main stage of the tournament, losing in the finals of the open qualifiers. However, in the following Split 2, they successfully reached the playoffs and became the champions of Japan.

Setback at Ascension PacificAt the Ascension Pacific tournament, RIDDLE reached the semifinals but lost to BOOM Esports, finishing in the top four. Aace played as a controller, posting stats of 190 ACS and a K/D ratio of 1.04. However, the team could not qualify for the Pacific League.

Aace mentioned that his main role is Sentinel, but he is ready to adapt to other positions. Over two years with ZETA DIVISION Academy and RIDDLE, he contributed significantly to the teams' successes. The community is now closely watching his next steps and potential offers from other teams.
