Xipto Esports and ZETA DIVISION GC, by reaching the grand final of the VCT Game Changers Pacific 2024, have secured their spots at the main event of the year — the VCT 2024: Game Changers Championship.
Grand Final of VCT Game Changers Pacific 2024
On October 6, the grand final of VCT Game Changers Pacific 2024 concluded, where Xipto Esports and ZETA DIVISION GC competed for a prize pool of $5,000 for the winner and $4,000 for the finalist. Both teams also received the most important prize — slots at the VCT 2024: Game Changers Championship. In the decisive match, Xipto Esports defeated ZETA DIVISION GC 3-0 in maps. World Championship Participants
Following the conclusion of the women's championship in the Pacific region, the list of participants for the VCT 2024: Game Changers Championship has expanded by two teams. Currently, five out of the ten participants who will travel to the main event of the year are known:
New Stars on the World Stage
For ZETA DIVISION GC, this will be their first-ever world championship, unlike Xipto Esports. Last year, the team finished in fourth place while competing under the Team SMG club. However, after the competitive season ended, the organization withdrew from the women's Valorant discipline, and the team decided to continue their journey together without financial backing.
