Representatives from the Anti-Cheat Police Department have reported an important update to Valorant Vanguard

Riot Games' anti-cheat is performing well, but dishonest players are continuously seeking new ways to exploit cheats in Valorant. To counter this, the developers of Valorant Vanguard are constantly updating their software, and a significant update was recently announced.

An announcement appeared on the official social media pages of the Anti-Cheat Police Department yesterday, where the developers announced new changes to the program's functionality. It has been revealed that Valorant Vanguard may now require the HVCI (Hypervisor-Protected Code Integrity) feature to be enabled for players to access the game.

Vanguard has added a new restriction. Players may need to enable HVCI to gain permission to run VALORANT. Enabling HVCI, which ensures system integrity by prohibiting the execution of unsigned code in the kernel, prevents most types of internal and external cheats since they cannot load specialized code into the kernel for their cheats to work. Cheaters are gradually noticing that their cheats cannot fully function.

The HVCI feature is enabled by default for most users, but if you are unable to access Valorant, you need to follow a few simple steps. Open the Start menu, go to Settings, find the Device Security section, and then in the Core Isolation item, find Memory Integrity and enable it if it is off by default.

While it's unclear if the new update will reduce the number of cheaters, representatives from the Anti-Cheat Police Department assure that many dishonest players find that their cheats no longer work. We will keep you updated on new information about Valorant Vanguard.
