The GoNext Esports team ended the season in sixth place at VCL East: Surge Split 2 2023, earning only $875 for the team, but securing a spot in the next season. The result did not satisfy the club's management, so they decided to completely review their squad for the next year. The first player to join the updated lineup was Dawid "PROFEK" Święć.
Who is PROFEK?
A young and talented player who showed a great result in this season at the Tier-2 level. Over his career, he has already won more than $2,000. In the last year, he managed to win quite a few tournaments, including:
- The Hunting of BenQ Squad #12
- Bad Omen
- VALORANT East: United: Season 2: Stage 1 - Weekly Cup #3
- VALORANT East: United: Season 2: Stage 1 - Monthly Cup #1
- VALORANT East: United: Season 2: Stage 1 - Finals
He finished the season playing for Diamant Esports at the VCL East: Surge Split 2 2023 tournament, where the team took 3rd place and won $2,191 and 90 VCL East Points.
However, this was not enough for Diamant Esports to qualify for VCL Ascension: EMEA 2023. Therefore, the organization said goodbye to its roster, and Dawid "PROFEK" Święć became a free agent. But, thanks to his impressive personal statistics, he didn't stay without a team for long.
The updated lineup can be seen in action at the beginning of the new season at the VCL East 2024 tournament. You can follow this and other events on our website, where there is a schedule of upcoming tournaments and detailed team statistics.
