Karmine Corp does not plan to renew contract with ZE1SH

Twenty-four-year-old player and coach Ahmed "ZE1SH" Sheikh announced on his personal Twitter page that his contract is ending in September 2023. The Karmine Corp organization has given him permission to consider new offers, but he is still trying to negotiate a contract extension with them.

With my contract ending in September 2023, Karmine Corp allowed me to explore my options for the next years while I'm still in talks with them about my future.

Despite the circumstances, I had a great time as a player and showed the value that I can bring to a project. It gave me even more confidence in my coaching skills so I will be back on the coaching staff side.

 

At this point, the season has already ended for many teams, but few of them have announced a roster review and players leaving their teams. Therefore, it's hard to say which club could offer Ahmed "ZE1SH" Sheikh a new home.

Player and coach's journey with Karmine Corp

Ahmed "ZE1SH" Sheikh joined the team on May 5, 2022, as an analyst-coach. Before that, he performed the same role on Team Vitality. The first events for the revamped roster were regional French tournaments, where the team did not show their best side.

Before the start of the new season, Karmine Corp was invited to partner teams from the EMEA region and went to their first offline tournament VCT LOCK//IN in Sao Paulo 2023. The team placed 9-16th and received $10,000.

Further changes in the roster occurred, and Ahmed "ZE1SH" Sheikh became a player of the main lineup. However, these changes did not bring the team significant and productive results. The team finished last in the VCT EMEA League 2023, which led to only receiving a slot at the last chance tournament.

VCT EMEA Last Chance Qualifier 2023 went better than previous tournaments, but the team still took a disappointing place for the organization.

These results are not surprising that the management of Karmine Corp seeks changes in the lineup to improve results. Unstable performance in previous tournaments indicates the need for a thorough review and evaluation of the current roster, aiming to improve results in the next season.
