Players TOP Esports eKo and Sylvan announced their search for a new team

Chinese esports team TOP Esports announced on January 2nd that players eKo and Sylvan, competing in the game Valorant, have expressed their desire to find new opportunities.

eKo began his competitive Valorant career in 2020, playing for teams such as TNL Esports, Reignite, and Gen.G, participating in tournaments across different regions. In October 2023, he joined TOP Esports.

Sylvan also has extensive experience in professional play, having been a part of teams like ZFGaming, World Gaming Star, and Gen.G, participating in tournaments in South Korea and China. He joined TOP Esports alongside his partner in October 2023.

Despite joining TOP Esports recently, eKo and Sylvan performances in the local tournaments VALORANT China Evolution Series Act2 and Act3 have been mixed. In the first act, they did not qualify through open qualifiers, while in the second act, they reached the quarterfinals.

Considering that most teams in the PACIFIC region have already finalized their rosters, it is expected that eKo and Sylvan future placements will be in VCT CHINA or in the national leagues of China, South Korea, or Japan.
