Recently, the head of Valorant's esports department promised that the issue would be addressed, and that all equipment would be replaced with new ones by the next season.
It's worth noting that professional players have long complained about the poor quality of equipment at international events. Some have claimed that Riot's computers are much weaker than their own, making it impossible to fully showcase their skills. According to various sources, Leo Faria, the head of Valorant's esports department, has finally responded to the complaints of professional players. He stated that while he doesn't believe the equipment was bad, it has served its purpose, and it's time for a replacement. This will happen before the next competitive season, making tournaments in 2025 more efficient.
The setups we've used over the past few years are good enough to run VAL, but they are indeed reaching the end of their lifecycle... I'm not saying this to dismiss TenZ's comments; professional feedback can sometimes light a fire under us, and I appreciate them holding us accountable.
