Players of Valorant are dissatisfied with Riot Games' expense management policy

Lately, an increasing number of Reddit users have been posting expressing their discontent with Riot Games' policy on managing player expenses. They pointed out that to unlock various weapon variants, animations, and visual effects, players need to purchase Radiante Points.

Players believe that this system forces them to acquire more currency. They also expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that when purchasing expensive bundles, players have to buy special currency to unlock additional cosmetic elements.

The total cost of the "Kuronami Bundle" for those who are just starting their journey and aiming to instantly unlock the entire set is $294.95. If you are a beginner and want to reduce the amount of Radiante Points needed to progress in the current battle pass, while still obtaining free Radiante Points in this chapter, the total amount will be $219.93 instead of the original $209.97.

The prices of Radiante Points are artificially inflated to further incentivize players to purchase and essentially gamble the entire BP (with 18% of Radiante Points located in the last 5 levels of BP). I think even a small Battlepass update, such as an animated skin or a simple but new animation for the Battlepass knife, would bring genuine excitement to many people and a desire to get something more than just Radiante Points and cards/titles.

In the comments on one of the posts, many other players expressed support for the author. One of them expressed the opinion that the "monetization model in Valorant leaves much to be desired" comparing it to other games. Another participant in the discussion emphasized that despite the option to ignore Radiante Points, the existing system is often perceived as uncomfortable and causes dissatisfaction among players.
