On July 7, the third day of the fourth week of the VCT 2024 Pacific Stage 2 tournament took place. The Paper Rex team won against ZETA DIVISION, making them the leader in the Pacific region by championship points and securing their participation in VALORANT Champions 2024.
By earning enough championship points, Paper Rex became the first team in the Pacific region to qualify for VALORANT Champions in Seoul. This will be the team's third consecutive appearance in this prestigious tournament.
In August, VALORANT Champions 2024 will kick off in Seoul, featuring 16 teams: 4 teams from each region. The tournament will bring together 3 teams with the best playoff results from their regions, as well as one team with the most championship points from the remaining 8 teams.

By the end of the third day of the fourth week, Paper Rex had accumulated 16 championship points, securing first place in the Pacific region with a 1-point lead over Gen.G. Even if Paper Rex loses in the playoffs, other teams won't be able to surpass them in championship points, guaranteeing their participation in Champions.
Thus, Paper Rex will participate in international tournaments for the ninth consecutive time since VCT 2022 Stage 1 and Masters. The team sets a record for the most consecutive appearances in international tournaments.
