One of the members of Team SMG unexpectedly leaves the team after a successful season in Valorant

Team SMG unexpectedly loses one of its members after a successful 2023 season, and just before the start of the next season, when the team could prove that last season's success was not a fluke.

Abigail "Kohaibi" Kong is leaving Team SMG. According to her, her current contract with the club has ended, making her a free agent now and ready to consider any offers for this year's competitive season. The player has significant experience, having started her professional career in 2020, and over this period, she has won over $16,000 in prize money.

It's worth noting that in 2023, Team SMG became the top team in the APAC region, with no other team being able to compete with them. However, at the decisive tournament - VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Game Changers Championship, the team finished in fourth place, earning a prize of $50,000.
