NRG defeats Gen.G Esports to claim the SOOP VALORANT LEAGUE title

On December 15, the SOOP VALORANT LEAGUE concluded with a thrilling grand final between Gen.G Esports and NRG. The teams competed for the $25,000 grand prize and the championship title.

The SOOP VALORANT LEAGUE was an off-season tournament held in Seoul, South Korea, from December 10 to 15. Eight teams participated, including six invited squads and two that qualified through open qualifiers, battling for a total prize pool of $80,000.

The tournament featured two stages: a group stage and playoffs. In the group stage, the teams were split into two groups, with only the top two from each group advancing. Sentinels, TALON, Rapid Lofi, and Bilibili Gaming failed to make it past the group stage.

In the playoff first round, NRG and Gen.G Esports emerged victorious. In the grand final, NRG dominated Gen.G Esports, securing the championship, the $25,000 top prize, and the tournament trophy.

For the participating teams, this tournament marked the final event of the year and the off-season. Their next challenge will be the start of the Valorant Champions Tour in January, where regional teams will compete for spots at Masters Bangkok.
