New details about changes in Episode 8 of Valorant

The highly anticipated eighth episode will start in less than a week, and the gaming community is already receiving the first details of the upcoming update. Recently, well-known data miners shared interesting changes that we will see in the next patch on the web.

The most interesting information concerns changes in the landscape of the maps. With the start of Episode 8 in Valorant, there will be a rotation of maps, and the long-awaited Icebox, which has been absent for 260 days, will return to the competitive pool. Recall that yesterday we wrote about changes on the map, read more about it in our material. After information from data miners, some rumors were partially confirmed, while others were disproven.

As can be seen in the images, the changes to the central part of the map have been confirmed. Now, the container which allows access to mid for the attacking side will be placed a bit higher, making it easier to control this area. Also, a container on the attacking side was removed, and several boxes were added to mid.

In addition, not only Icebox but also Lotus will be changed. The map will undergo interesting expansions, for example, the B plant point will increase in size, allowing for more variations. New boxes will also be added, and the landscape of point C will be changed.
