"The organization is having financial problems" - Kurt commented on his departure from Evil Geniuses

The notorious American organization Evil Geniuses continues to part ways with staff from its Valorant roster. It was recently revealed that the management has ended its collaboration with head manager Kurtis "Kurt" Gallo, who shared the reasons for his departure.

In his official Twitter account, Kurt shared the unexpected news with his followers. He announced that yesterday was his last day with the organization and discussed the reasons. According to the head manager, Evil Geniuses began facing serious budget issues, leading to the decision to reduce staff, with Kurtis being the first. He is very sad that it is time to say goodbye but is ready for new achievements and has already begun looking for a team.

Unfortunately, my time has come. I have been officially released from Evil Geniuses due to budget reasons. Today was my last day at EG. Given this, I am looking for a job, and with my experience, recommendations, education, and drive, I am extremely confident that I will fit any operational position in esports. Thank you to my colleagues, I hope to work with most of you again!

Kurtis "Kurt" Gallo has been a member of the organization since 2021. His work with the players helped the Valorant team achieve significant success in 2023, including a victory at the world championship. But after this, unpleasant details about the management surfaced, and the team parted ways with several players, and today, with the head manager.

Recall that Evil Geniuses have long been experiencing problems in the esports space. The organization has disbanded rosters in disciplines such as League of Legends, Dota 2, CS 2, as well as the women's Valorant team. Considering the trend of parting ways with squads and staff, it can be assumed that EG will cease its existence in the near future.
