The fourth day of the group stage of the last Game Changers series tournament in 2023, specifically, the VCT 2023: Game Changers EMEA Series 3, has come to an end. In this article, we will take a look at the outcomes in both groups and the most interesting matches.
Group A
The cumulative table for Group A remained largely unchanged following the conclusion of the fourth game day - the leaders stayed in their positions. Only the league newcomers, Team Falcons VEGA, managed to climb one rung higher thanks to a victory in a hard-fought match against Odd 1 OUT. However, it is worth noting an intriguing development this day: NAVI Celestials nearly pulled off a striking victory over G2 Gozen. Despite a 0:2 loss, both maps were fiercely contested (Pearl 11:13, Ascent 13:15).
Group B
As for the final standings in Group B, significant changes occurred at the top of the table. Except for Acend Rising, who demonstrated their leadership and established themselves as one of the main contenders for victory in this tournament by easily defeating NASR Ignite, which started the day in second place but ended up in third. The real sensation of the day was the match between Rebels Velvet and FUT Female. The Turkish team, being one of the leaders in this group, couldn't secure a win against a team generally considered to be less experienced.
