MOTHER3 becomes a streamer for Gen.G, helping the team expand its fanbase

Korean esports team Gen.G announced on March 14 the appointment of popular Japanese streamer known as MOTHER3 as the club's streaming partner.

After being active in CS:GO, MOTHER3 started streaming Valorant on Twitch when his theater acting was restricted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Becoming a popular streamer with high gaming skills, he joined the professional gaming team REJECT in October 2021.

Examples of collaboration between foreign teams and Japanese streamers include the announced partnership in February this year between Hanjou and Team Secret, and mittiii with Talon Esports. This demonstrates a desire to attract attention to the Japanese region, which has many viewers, and expand the team's fanbase.

Currently, Gen.G is participating in Masters Madrid as representatives of the PACIFIC region. On March 16, the team will face the Chinese collective EDward Gaming. With MOTHER3 joining the club, it is expected that he will broadcast games.
