Korean scene star Kim "Meteor" Tae-o becomes part of T1's Valorant roster for the upcoming Valorant Champions Tour season. His contract with Gen.G Esports recently ended, making him a free agent.

Kim "Meteor" Tae-o is one of the top Korean players, attending every international tournament in 2024 with Gen.G Esports and securing three titles out of six possible, including the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Masters Shanghai. He was named among the top ten players of Valorant Champions 2024 and was recognized as the best anchor player of the year in the Pacific region. Meteor’s first matches with T1
We will see Meteor in action with his new team on October 19. On this day, the final stage of the qualifiers for Red Bull Home Ground #5 begins. T1 received an invitation and will compete with five other teams for a single slot in the main event.
