Medal Esports signs another player to their main Valorant roster

Indian organization Medal Esports has signed another player to their main Valorant roster, welcoming Venkatesh Sharma, known in the professional scene as venka. This was made known through an official announcement by the organization.

This isn't the first addition to the team ahead of the new season. The team previously signed two other players, which you can read about in our article.

Who is venka?

 
 

Venkatesh "venka" Sharma is a young, 16-year-old player who began his career in 2022 from amateur tournaments. In early 2023, he was invited to the professional team MLT Esports. However, the team displayed unsatisfactory results during the season. After which, the player left the team and joined Medal Esports.

Debut of the Updated Roster

Medal Esports is participating in the EMG Pro Series: South Asia, taking place from August 7th to 27th, with a prize pool of $6,500, and the main prize being a ticket to the main stage of the EMG Pro Series. The next match, where the updated roster can be seen, will happen in 3 days. The main event will be held on LAN in Dubai, where $18,000 will be split amongst 4 teams.
