LGD Gaming bids farewell to two members after failure at VALORANT China Evolution Series

The Chinese organization LGD Gaming is parting ways with a player and a coach from their Valorant roster following an unsuccessful performance at the VALORANT China Evolution Series Act 3: Heritability tournament.

Two members of LGD Gaming announced their departure from the organization. They joined the team before the start of the VALORANT China Evolution Series Act 3: Heritability tournament and left it immediately after its conclusion. Neither party has disclosed the reasons for these drastic decisions.

Coach Evgenii "esavgabiN" Savgabin and player Oleg "watasink" Salomin announced their departure from LGD Gaming on their social networks. Both joined the team before the start of VALORANT China Evolution Series Act 3: Heritability. The team managed to qualify from the open qualifiers to the main stage and finished in the 9-12th place, earning the team $775.

Updated roster of LGD Gaming

LGD Gaming, across three series of the VALORANT China Evolution tournaments, has only earned 120 EVO Points. Analysts believe this may not be enough to qualify for Ascension, where a partnership with Riot Games will be contested.
