Just after two months of cooperation, the head coach of Legacy GC is leaving the team

Today, the Brazilian team Legacy GC announced changes in their current Valorant roster. After two months of collaboration and unsatisfactory results, the team decided to part ways with head coach Ricardo "rik" Furquim.

In their official Twitter account, the representatives of the organization informed that it's time to say goodbye to Ricardo. Despite the fact that he spent a relatively short period with the team, just a little over two months, they wish him all the best in the future and thank him for his contribution to the life of the team.

And today is the day of thanks to Ricardo "rik" Furquim, who conducted lessons and was responsible for our women's VALORANT team. May this new chapter that is beginning be very successful, you deserve it! We will always be rooting for you! SINCERE THANKS!

While Ricardo's leadership of the team cannot be called a failure either. He joined the club at the end of September 2023 and started with two prize-winning places. Under his leadership, the girls took 3-4th place at the G-Shock - Resistance Cup, and later again third place at VCT 2023: Game Changers Brazil Series 2, which ultimately did not allow the team to make it to the women's world championship. The worst result was shown at the last tournament in the off-season Multiplatform Esports Game 2023, where the club dropped out at 13-16th place.

In turn, the coach also thanked the team for the opportunity provided and apologized for not being able to help the girls achieve the desired results. In his social networks, he assured that he will improve in order to not disappoint any team in the future, and announced his search for new offers for a coaching or assistant position.
