LOUD HC fRoD: "Simple, we have aspas"pic.twitter.com/rSj9hYAHuR
When players were asked how confident they are about the upcoming match against Natus Vincere and how they plan to combat the Ukrainian national team's Operator cNed, who is deadliest with the Operator weapon, the team's head coach fRoD briefly answered that they have one answer to the opposing players, a young star player who is currently the talk of the town.
We just have aspas.
This answer might sound comedic, but it's true. As of today, aspas is considered one of the best duelists in the world, a fact that's not only supported by fans but also by other professional players. He recently set a record for the number of kills in international tournaments. After the first match in the group stage, where LOUD lost to DRX, aspas accumulated over 1000 kills in international tournaments, as confirmed by Riot Games. You can read more about this in our article.
Separately, we want to remind that there are many negative rumors circulating about the star player. The main one being that aspas didn't achieve a salary raise and therefore will leave the team after the end of this season since his contract only runs until 2023.
Recall that the Brazilian team will be meeting Natus Vincere on August 12th as part of the decisive match of the Valorant Champions 2023 group stage. The winner advances to the playoff stage, and the loser leaves the championship. We will watch closely to see if the star player lives up to the expectations placed upon him.
