Late last night, the official Riot Games account for the VCT series congratulated professional player Aspas. The LOUD member, after the first match of Valorant Champions 2023, accumulated a total of over 1000 kills in international competitive tournaments.

Despite LOUD losing this encounter, Aspas achieved the most kills and finished the match with the best KD ratio over the three maps. After the player scored 61 frags, his total kill count in international tournaments exceeded 1000, setting a record among all professional players. The LOUD organization and other players congratulated the first record-holder, dubbing him the king.
It's worth noting that the Brazilian player is touted as the best duelist in the world. Throughout his career, he won last year's world championship. Additionally, he has claimed prize-winning positions in major tournaments such as: VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík - 2nd place, VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo - 2nd place.
