Jayvee "DubsteP" Paguirigan is a 30-year-old professional player originally from the Philippines. He has been competing in the Valorant esports scene since August 2020 and has spent his entire career in two teams. As a part of Bren Esports, he successfully competed on the tier-2 scene and even received an invitation to VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin. However, due to the Covid19 pandemic, the team was unable to secure visas to Germany, forcing them to miss the tournament. DubsteP spent the next part of his career with Team Secret, but even during this period, he did not win any high-profile events. The player has a 3-4th place finish at the Valorant India Invitational and a 2nd place finish at the Daejeon Valorant Invitational. The last season ended for Team Secret with a 2nd place finish at the VCT 2023: Pacific Last Chance Qualifier, as a result of which “Secret” did not qualify for the world championship.
Recall that recently, Team Secret, evidently due to poor performance, said goodbye to two players, one of whom is DubsteP. Read more about it in our material. Immediately after this, the player received an invitation to the updated Global Esports roster, an organization that is gradually recruiting top-1 players ahead of the upcoming VCT 2024 season.
