The first match of the first round will feature a clash between Team Heretics and Paper Rex instead of Gen.G Esports vs MIBR. In turn, the match between Gen.G and MIBR has been postponed to the second game round.

The group stage matchups for the VCT 2025: Masters Toronto tournament have been determined, which will be held in a Swiss system format. In the first round, we have two exciting showdowns: Gen.G Esports will face off against MIBR, and Team Liquid will compete against Bilibili Gaming. The matches kick off on June 7, with the first game starting at 16:00 UTC and the second at 19:00 UTC.

The following day, June 8, the remaining matches of the opening round will continue: Team Heretics will play against Paper Rex, and Sentinels will open their series against Wolves Esports at 16:00 and 19:00 UTC, respectively.

Meanwhile, four teams have already secured their spots in the playoffs as winners of their regional leagues:

• G2 Esports — winner of Americas Stage 1
• XLG Esports — winner of China Stage 1
• Fnatic — winner of EMEA Stage 1
• Rex Regum Qeon — winner of Pacific Stage 1

These teams will start directly from the playoff stage and will not participate in the Swiss group stage.

VCT 2025: Masters Toronto runs from June 7 to 22 in Toronto, Canada, in a LAN format. The tournament features 12 teams competing for $1,000,000 and VCT points (up to 7 points for a win). You can follow the matches and results via this link.
