FUT Esports has announced that Alp “sw4y” Özkuvancı has joined the team as an assistant coach for the Valorant squad. The team is currently intensively preparing and training for the start of VCT 2024.
Coach Alp "sw4y" Özkuvancı has significant experience but has not yet achieved notable successes. He began his career in 2021 as the head coach for OtherSide. His most recent position was with Fenerbahçe Esports, a team that had a less than stellar season, failing to secure any top placements.
sw4y will work alongside head coach Eray "GAIS" Sarıkaya with the aim of preparing the team for the upcoming regular season of VCT. The season is scheduled to start in the early months of 2024, featuring the VCT EMEA League and qualifiers for the first Masters of 2024.
Superdome 2023 - Egypt will be the last tournament for FUT Esports this year and the first for the updated coaching staff. The event will begin on December 5 and over four days, four teams will compete for the championship title and a prize pool of $30,000.
