The Spanish organization MAD Lions LAURË has lost more than half of its roster. This became known from the tweets of the departing players. MoniOvess, Leyre, and Nahashi are moving to the substitute bench and have already started looking for new teams.
With the arrival of this trio, MAD Lions LAURË did not immediately achieve results. Overall, the team did not perform at its best, securing only one victory in the 2023 season at the VCT 2023: Game Changers EMEA Contenders Series 3 tournament, where they took the first place. This turned out to be the final competition for this roster, after which the players decided to leave the team.
The remaining tournaments in the 2023 season ended in total failure for the team. VCT 2023: Game Changers EMEA Contenders Series 2 resulted in a ninth-place finish, and Series 1 ended for them in seventeenth place.
