The Valorant off-season is coming to an end, and yesterday another tier-2 tournament concluded. The Stryda Valorant Nordic Clash, after two days of intense matches, finally revealed the winning team.
Although the matches were exciting, the tournament ended quite predictably, with the Norwegian team Formulation Gaming emerging as the victors. The team had an interesting series of victories; in their first match, they automatically won against the club Not Friends, which did not show up for the tournament. In subsequent matches, the team defeated Wintermint with a score of 13-11, and later OnlyFins with a score of 13-8, which led them to the grand final.
The last showdown, which concluded the entire tournament, was again against OnlyFins, who, thanks to a victory in the lower bracket, had the chance for a rematch. Despite this, Formulation Gaming held onto their title as favorites and secured a hard-fought victory with an overall score of 2-1. In terms of maps, the team won their pick Sunset 13-11, lost their opponents' pick Haven 10-13, and finished the clash with a victory on Lotus with a score of 13-9.
Remember, the Stryda Valorant Nordic Clash took place from December 9 to 10 in an online format. Eight teams that passed through two qualifying stages fought for a total prize pool of $12,000 and the championship title, which ultimately went to the favorites from Formulation Gaming.
