Apeks is gearing up for Challengers 2024 with new stars

The vice-champion of Ascension EMEA in 2023, Norwegian organization Apeks, announced its new roster for Challengers 2024 this Friday. Among the new acquisitions is the VCT EMEA 2023 champion, Dom "soulcas" Sulcas, who will be a fantastic addition to the team.

Apeks embarked on their Valorant journey in early 2023 but has already achieved significant results, as evidenced by their performance in their first season. The team won two splits in VALORANT Challengers 2023 Northern Europe: Polaris, securing a spot in VCT 2023: Ascension EMEA.

The team navigated through the tournament leading to VCT EMEA without suffering a single defeat, losing only two maps before the final. Despite their excellent gameplay, Apeks lost in the grand final to the team Gentle Mates with a score of 3:0, finishing second in the tournament and missing out on franchise spots.

Changes in the European team's roster occurred after three players left for Team Liquid. The new roster includes two familiar names: Dom "soulcas" Sulcas and Auni "AvovA" Chahade, former players of G2 Esports and Team Heretics.

In addition to Soulcas and AvovA, Apeks will also feature three less-known players: Tautvydas "hype" Paldavicius, Kajetan "kaajak" Haremski, and Michał "MOLSI" Łącki. It is also known that the team does not plan to make any changes to the coaching staff.
