After NRG released their head Valorant coach, Chet "Chet" Singh revealed on his personal stream that he had used his own money to help the organization buy out the contracts of players Max "Demon1" Mazanov and Ethan "Ethan" Arnold from Evil Geniuses, a decision he now regrets but considers a valuable lesson.

Chet "Chet" Singh called esports ungrateful after NRG parted ways with him, despite the fact that he spent a significant amount of his own money to buy out the contracts of Max "Demon1" Mazanov and Ethan "Ethan" Arnold so they could play under his guidance.

To recall, NRG's season this year ended poorly: the team missed all possible international tournaments, including the world championship, making their performance in 2024 worse than in 2023.
