After an unsuccessful season, NRG bids farewell to the head coach and a main roster player

As one of the top American region teams and one of 11 partner teams, NRG has concluded its professional Valorant scene participation for the next six months following the end of VCT 2024 Americas Stage 2. Due to their performance, the team decided to part ways with two members, head coach Chet "Chet" Singh and main roster player Victor "Victor" Wong.

The club announced this decision on their official social media. The team's management thanked the former members for their long history and significant contributions to the group, and wished them all the best in their future endeavors.

Head coach Chet "Chet" Singh has an incredible long history with the club. He joined the team back in 2020, immediately taking the role of head coach. He left the team after half a year only to return to NRG in 2022 and stay with the team until yesterday. Victor "Victor" Wong, on the other hand, joined the team only at the end of 2022. Both participants led NRG to 4th place at VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo and helped the team become the runner-up at VCT 2023: Americas League.

Both former members also thanked the team for the warm memories and stated they are now open to new offers. There is no doubt that with their experience in the highest competitive league of Valorant, both will soon receive numerous invitations from other teams.
