Former Evil Geniuses Coach joins 100 Thieves

Thirty-year-old Tony "Zikz" Gray, the former assistant coach of Evil Geniuses, has joined the American organization 100 Thieves as head coach. This information came to light through an official announcement on the club's Twitter page.

After a disappointing 2023 season, 100 Thieves has high ambitions for the upcoming season and is actively forming a highly competitive roster. In addition to Tony "Zikz" Gray, formerly of Evil Geniuses, the American organization has also shown interest in the captain of Evil Geniuses - Kelden "Boostio" Pupello. Rumor has it that the club has no plans to let him go, holding him in a "contractual prison". We delved deeper into this situation in another article.

Updated 100 Thieves Roster:

Tony "Zikz" Gray is a coach with relatively little experience, just one and a half years, but in that time, he has already worked as an assistant coach for teams like NRG and Evil Geniuses. With the latter, he clinched victory at Valorant Champions 2023. Likely out of personal desire following this championship, he left the team in pursuit of career advancement and secured the opportunity to take up the head coach position.

It's worth noting that 100 Thieves has not yet bid farewell to their current head coach and has not commented on the situation. Hence, it remains unclear whether he will leave the team or transition to an assistant coach role. We will find out this information and about the fifth player soon, as the team's next tournament, Red Bull Home Ground 4, will be held from November 3-5.
