"Finally, Aimlab in Valorant" - In the latest update 8.01, Riot Games changed the training location

With the last patch in Valorant 8.01, which brought many changes, the gaming community noticed another new feature that was not announced by the developers. In the training location in Valorant, bots now have an analogue of souls, which some agents can use.

The first to report this new feature was a user with the nickname Tef123. In his Twitter account, the player showed a video where the agent Iso, thanks to the Double Tap ability, can train his shooting skills. This became possible precisely because of the update 8.01, after which the training bots upon death became similar to real agents, as a result of which the Double Tap ability works on them. The mechanics with the agent are similar to the well-known program Aimlab, which can be used to train one's aim.

Additionally, a similar mechanic became possible for the agent Reyna. After she kills opponents, spheres appear in their place, which can be absorbed using the abilities Dismiss and Devour. Now in training mode, players on Reyna can also extract souls from dead enemies, but it's unclear what application this might have. Since there are no such moments in training as in a real game, for Reyna this change is probably in vain.

So far, there are no official comments from Riot Games, but it can be assumed that such new features are definitely not a bug. Perhaps the developers plan to expand the capabilities of the training ground in the future, adding several new modes and functions.
