The first four participants of Red Bull Home Ground #5 have been determined

The Valorant offseason will present viewers with more than 30 various events, featuring different numbers of participants and prize pools. However, among them, Red Bull Home Ground #5 stands out due to its popularity and the participating teams, half of which have recently been announced.

What is Red Bull Home Ground #5?

Red Bull Home Ground #5 is the fifth annual event during the Valorant offseason. It is organized by Red Bull in partnership with Riot Games and supported by renowned sponsors. Each event features 8 teams from different regions, who qualify for the tournament as follows: 4 teams receive direct invitations from the organizers, while the remaining 4 must go through qualifiers in North America, APAC regions, and the International Play-In. Notably, this is one of the few events where participants can include not only regular representatives of VCT and Challengers but also women's teams from Game Changers.

Participating Teams

Although there is more than a month until the main event begins, organizers have already started sending out invitations and conducting qualifying stages. The latest stage concluded yesterday, and now 4 teams are confirmed to participate in the main event:

It should be noted that the first three teams received direct invitations from the organizers, while Cloud9 won the North American qualifiers. Read more about this in our detailed material.

What the teams will compete for

Although Red Bull Home Ground #5 is an event in the Valorant offseason and does not impact the teams' standings in the VCT or Challengers leagues, the participants will not compete for nothing. The event is one of the biggest and most renowned during the OFF//SEASON, so the prize will be significant. While the organizers have not officially announced the prize pool for the 5th stage, based on 2023 and 2022, it can be assumed that the prize pool will be $100,000.

Red Bull Home Ground #5 will take place from November 20 to 23 in a LAN format at Arena Berlin. Stay tuned to our portal to learn about the other 4 teams that will participate in the tournament.
