The Turkish team Eternal Fire, like many others, has undergone changes during the 2024 offseason. After parting ways with several members, it was announced today that another player, Konuralp "qw1" Şahin, is leaving the team.

The player himself also expressed his gratitude to the team through his social media, stating that he doesn’t plan to stop and has already begun searching for new opportunities. Despite being under contract, the team’s management allowed him to pursue other offers.

Eternal Fire’s performance in 2024

The numerous roster changes are primarily due to the team's performance, which in 2024 was not at its best. The team placed 9th at VALORANT Challengers 2024 Turkey: Birlik Split 2, which resulted in them failing to secure an invite to the tier-2 Ascension tournament. Following this, Eternal Fire finished 5th-8th in the closed qualifiers for the GAMEON VALORANT Tournament #2, failing to advance to the main event. Due to this lackluster performance, the team has undergone significant changes, which are likely to continue.
