EDward Gaming Announces the Addition of S1Mon to the Valorant Team

On June 26, the Chinese esports team EDward Gaming announced on their official Weibo account the addition of S1Mon to their Valorant roster.

S1Mon began his Valorant career in 2023. Previously, he played for JD Gaming for several months but spent most of his career in amateur teams.

EDward Gaming, the first to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2024, which will take place in August this year in Korea, is currently experiencing a series of setbacks, having suffered their third consecutive loss, including a match at Masters Madrid. In the current VCT CHINA 2024 Stage 2 tournament, they lost 1-2 in their first game to Wolves Esports, who are in last place in the group stage.

EDG Valorant has announced a new player, S1Mon (Xie Mengxun).

S1Mon is a Taiwanese player currently playing in HK/TW Challengers League. He previously played for JDG during the CN Evolution series last year (before JDG signed RA).
