Chinese collective JD Gaming, currently a part of Riot's partnership program, recently announced roster changes for their Valorant team. It has been revealed that the main roster player Zhuo "MarT1n" Zhengjie is leaving the team to join XLG Esports.
The club announced this decision on their official social networks. The team warmly bids farewell to the former member and thanks him for his contributions to the team, also wishing MarT1n all the best in his future endeavors and success in the new organization.
Zhuo "MarT1n" Zhengjie is a 24-year-old Chinese professional player who began his Valorant career in early 2023. He spent the last several months with JD Gaming. With the team, he secured a 7th-9th place at VCT 2024: China Kickoff and later an 11th place at VCT 2024: China Stage 1. Now, the esports athlete will be competing for another team, which does not have a partnership with Riot Games.
Currently, there is no information about future tournaments in which XLG Esports will participate, so MarT1n will have enough time to adapt to the new team and players. We will continue to follow the Chinese player to learn about his successes on the Valorant stage.
